Mielżyński Wine Shops and Wine Bars

Whether you are a wine novice or a fine wine collector, we warmly welcome you at Mielżyński. All the labels we stock are personally selected for style, quality and value by our owner, Robert Mielżyński. Since 2004, we have been importing wines from all over the world to Poland. In that year we also welcomed our first customers to our original wine shop and bar on Burakowska Street, Warsaw.

Our four shops double as wine bars, each with a seasonal menu based on fresh Polish ingredients as well as a regular selection of wine-friendly bites. Come join us for post-work drinks and try something new from our curated selection of by-the-glass and by-the-bottle wines.

We also hold regular events with stand-up tastings and live music. For these occasions, we invite winemakers from across the globe to share their passion and wine knowledge with you.

We offer a few hundred labels that are continuously refreshed with new treasures. On our shelves, you will find wines at any price range and in various categories: from the simple and fruity to the complex and ageworthy; wines from almost every region of Europe and those from the New World; as well as modest but carefully selected labels from Polish winemakers.

In addition, we offer spirits (cognac, whisk(e)y, grappa), fortified wines (sherry and port), gastronomic specialities (such as olive oil and balsamic vinegar) and top-quality wine accessories. Each store is run by a team of specialists ready to share their experience and give you professional advice.

We believe that good wine and good food always come together.

In each of our four wine bars, you can see our chefs prepare your dishes in an open kitchen. We use only high-quality produce from reliable suppliers to create two types of menu: a fixed menu of wine-friendly appetizers and a changing seasonal menu. Please check the board for the day’s selection of salads, soups, meat and vegetarian dishes, and desserts.

Our sommeliers are happy to help you find wines to pair with your choice of food, and you can choose from the entire range of labels available in our shop – typically sold both in bottles and by the glass.

If you have a favourite wine region, look out for our Food&Wine themed menus. Several times a year we hold culinary ‘tours’ through Old and New World wine regions, where we offer you typical regional dishes served with a selection of wines from that area.
